We Honor the Life of
Jerry Chernak
and keep him forever in our thoughts

Dear Scouts, Fellow Scouters and Friends,

It was with great sorrow that we informed you that Jerry Chernak passed away Tuesday, November 9th, 2004. Jerry had been ill for a short while however complications developed from which he was unable to recover.

Jerry was a former Scoutmaster with Troop 641, Committee Member, husband to wife Gail, father to Eagle Scout – David Chernak and to his daughter – Hope, a brother, and friend & mentor to boys throughout the Central Florida Council.

Jerry was honored during funeral services at the Congregation of Reform Judaism on Thursday, November 11th and was laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery in Gotha, Florida.

Troop 641 and the Chernak family greatly appreciated everyone's participation in the memorial service to keep the memory of a great fellow Scouter and friend alive by keeping with our Scouting tradition and in keeping with Jewish tradition of Mitzvot (good deeds).

Zichrono Livracha – May his memory be for blessing
