May 30, Memorial Day Ceremony Ceremony at Woodlawn - at Woodlawn Cemetery near Ocoee (400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd, Gotha, FL)

May 28th, First Aid/CPR Certification Training - Four Scouts (one from another unit), One Leader, Three Scout Parents, One Scout Sibling all were trained and certified in First Aid and CPR. Many thanks to George E., our instructor and paramedic from the Ocoee Fire Department.

May 13-15, Family Campout, Blue Spring State Park
Had fun, fished, swam, tubed, carved walking sticks.

May 7th, Family Fest
We participated in Family Fest (it's a requirement for Quality Unit).
from 10 AM to 3 PM
We showd many other boys and adults how to properly carve walking sticks.
All attendees had fun, and you know what....all our Scouts sure had fun teaching, too!! They did a great job.

Feb 24th Court of Honor arrive by 7:00 - Ceremony begins promptly at 7:30 at HDS (Hebrew Day School)

Canceled Ski & Snowboarding Trip - Feb 19-21 - Banner, NC

Feb 19 - Scout Sabbath - Participated in Saturday morning Shabbat services at Temple Israel (Longwood)

Feb 11 - Sunshine Trade-O-Ree (Camp Down Windermere) and traditional late night "comraderee" at Ocoee Denny's

Feb 11 - Scout Sabbath - Participated in Friday night Shabbat services at CLJ (Congregation of Liberal Judaism, Orlando)

Feb 10 - First Aid Merit Badge and Gateway for District Camporee (work during troop meeting)

Feb 5 - Louis' Bar Mitzvah

Jan 28-29 Order of the Arrow - Klallam Chapter - Ordeal [New member initiation weekend] (Jared, Aaron, Mr. Pastor)

Jan 15-16 Troop Campout at Wekiva Springs State Park

Dec 10-12 - Troop Campout with Pack 641 during their Fun with Son at Camp LaNoChe

Dec 7 - OA (Order of the Arrow) Call Out Ceremony (Jared, Aaron and Mr. Pastor)

Dec 3-5 - Troop Campout at District Camporee at Rybolt Field at Camp LaNoChe

Oct 30 - Eagle Service Project - Alex Lerch - painted house numbers on curbs for emergency responders

October 28 - OA (Order of the Arrow) Elections (Jared, Aaron and Mr. Pastor were elected)

 

Serving Boy Scout aged boys who are in the 6th through 12th grades (or 11 to 17 years of age) in the Altamonte Springs, Lake Mary, Maitland, Orlando, Winter Garden and other Central Florida Communities.
